Science & Art

As visual-beings, people perceive through the eye the world in all its fascinating variety of representations, colours and shapes. It therefore seems natural that pictorial representations meet our need for visual clarity. Since many fields of knowledge, especially the neurosciences, are characterized by an enormous complexity, visualizations that lend form and clarity to the abstract are helpful learning companions.

With the aim of efficiently encoding the multi-dimensional complexity of structure and process, we develop images, animations and films in 3D-mode that make it possible to form adequate mental models. In the combination of art, technology and didactics, we uniquely lead the way through fascinating brain worlds and turn the complex, functional neuroanatomy into a comprehensible adventure.

Mind, Brain & Body

Based on our instructional videos, we convey the foundations of medicine with great enthusiasm. For many years, we have specialized in imparting theoretical analysis, practical teaching and explorative concept development. We pay special attention to the presentation of the most demanding field of medicine: the structure and function of the brain, i.e. ‘functional neuroanatomy’.

No medical or psycho-social discipline exists today that does not seek to consider the results of neuroscientific research. This is set against the fact that the complex structure of the brain is often difficult to access. In addition, there is the ever-increasing differentiation of fields of knowledge and the associated torrent of insights which, at the end of the dissecting analysis, calls once again for a didactical merger.

Our creative knowledge base, research and teaching experience, as well as our creative-competence, is supported by the aspiration to present in a vivid and exciting way how human experience and behaviour can be implemented as a result of cerebral activity.
